Que cooomo dicheee?

Así es, mas temprano que tarde, y yo diría muy pronto. La naríz del presi-peje, se está pintando de rojo, Andrés Manuel ya dijo: su sueldo de presidente legítimo, ahora si creo que de la "república patito" y por sus invaluables servicios a la nación que representa, cualquiera que ésta sea (ya no puedo aguantar mas la risa), será de 50,000 pesos al mes y para sus secretarios patrullita, 30,000.

Queee tal? la misma pregunta que levanté anteriormente, de donde?. Donde esta la olla de monedas de oro, en donde tienen la alcancía para pagarle a 13 dizque funcionarios, con tal sueldo. El cual mantendria a mas de cien familias de sus fieles seguidores, ahora para colmo estos mismos, tendrán que aportar al sombrero con varios centavitos al dia para apoyar a la causa.

Según la experiencia mexicana, ésta dicta que los diputados y senadores del PRD que dicen también apoyaran el sueldo de Andres Manuel, lo harán por un par de meses y después pretenderan demencia, porque para un legislador (de cualquier partido), el sueldo y las demas prestaciones son sagradas, es decir "intocables", asi se trate del mismisimo presi-peje. Por lo tanto, le quedará solo la caja del gobierno del D.F, pero si Marcelo quiere verse bien ante la opinion pública mas le vale cuidar el tesoro y no dejar que Andrés Manuel meta mano ahi.

Tom " alpha" Cruise

As Arredonald appointed in her blog, there is a difference between heights of Tom and Katie. In their wedding pictures, she seems smaller than she really is (how that happen?). As you can see is more than obvious and every body knows she is taller than her husband.

This morning I was talking about this couple with pepe and he said something very interesting from my female point of view, that revealed what a man thinks: HE IS AN ALPHA MALE. HE GOT THE BEST GIRLS, FIRST NICHOLE, NOW KATIE, both taller than he and both beutiful women, the only response to that for a man, is that he has to do or be something, that other men not to attract this kind of woman, (he was with Penelope Cruz too, as we say in Mexico, "no canta mal las racheras", she es cute too), so probably he is not the tallest guy in town, but definitely he knows how to play his male cards.

Ya tenemos "presidente legítimo" es decir PRESI-PEJE

Yo se que hay lectores de este blog, que no aprecian cuando "publico cuestiones políticas" si ese es su caso clique aquí.

Dicho lo anterior, procedo con mi comentario, no puedo resistir decir algo a este respecto, aunque sea para mi propio gusto, total de eso se trata un blog, en principio, creo. (tal vez por esa razón no me he convertido en personalidad bloggera, atiendo mas lo que a mi me interesa que a los otros, en fin...). Sigo. Hoy tomó posesión o se auto denominó presidente legítimo de México, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Mas bien presidente legítimo de la cuarta república (creo que suena mejor que de la república virtual o la república patito).

Al final ellos mismos (los del PRD), hablaron de la restauración de la cuarta república, considerando que la tercer república se instauró con la revolución mexicana, al menos eso fue lo que escuché por ahí, conste que les estoy dando un matíz de respeto.

Aprovecha AMLO esta fecha, 20 de noviembre, como él es muy revolucionario (además de Juarista, claro) y decidió llevar a cabo su evento. Mandó hacer su estandarte con águila Juarista, su atríl y su sillita, su bandita para hacer el acto lo mas apegado a la realidad, cierto?

Yo me pregunto, cuanto le habrá costado todo esto? mas la torta y el refresco para sus seguidores. Y que pasaría pues con la austeridá? Ya en serio, (como si pudieramos hablar en serio sobre esto y aguantarnos un poco la risa), que significado tiene para el país que Andrés Manuel haya "asumido" este cargo, es algo que le devolverá la popularidad? bastante ali-caida, por cierto y lo pivotea para la elección del 2012? o es la culminación de su berrinche ante la derrota del 2 de julio y de su soberbia? (El fraude, dirán algunos).

Además presentó secretarios!, justicia y salud, entre otros (queee cosa), si todavia no me queda claro para que sirve su presidencia, mucho menos la función de sus secretarios, irán a recibir un sueldo? y de donde va salir para pagarles, o lo harán por puro amor al PEJE?.

Algunos dicen que es una presidencia sombra o presidencia espejo, algo asi como una presidencia conciencia?, va a perseguir a Felipe por todos lados, criticando todo lo que hace y dice, algo asi como lo que el mismo Peje hizo contra Vicente Fox, durante casi seis años. Pero comentarios de integrantes del frente amplio (como se llama ahora el grupo politico de Andres Manuel) dicen que no, que no se trata de una presidencia espejo, sino de una verdadera lucha por el poder, lo que sea que el lector entienda por eso.

Total que el buen PEJE decidió dar el paso, caminar en el filo de la navaja, entre el ridículo y la payasada y el caudillismo del nuevo milenio, el tiempo dirá de que lado queda, aunque me parece que la naríz roja le aparecerá muy pronto.

Lo que si se deja ver, es que Marcelo Ebrard, el nuevo jefe de gobierno del Distrito Federal, no la va a tener fácil con su amigo el presidente legítimo, ya que al parecer AMLO todavía piensa que el ejercicio de su gobierno (legítimo-virtual o como llamarle?) tiene su base en un gobierno verdadero como el de la ciudad de México. Por lo pronto la primera acción que tomó el Presi-peje fue absorber el aumento de la leche atraves del gobierno del D.F, y con esa autoridá, lo hizo saber! Dicen por ahi, tambien, que Marcelo aspira a ser presidente y tomar la iniciativa el 2012, asi que mas le convendria romper con el PEJE. Si asi fuera, que tan lejos llegaria la presidencia ligítima de la cuarta república?.

Gatitos, primer dia de sol.

Los gatitos salieron hoy por primera vez a la luz del sol.
Aitana recomienda que comunique a todos nuestros lectores: las niñas los adoran! Sin embargo... ya estan listos y suficientemente curiosos para que se vayan al albergue de animalitos y alguien los adopte ahora en navidad.
Nosostros nos quedaremos con uno.
Una mala noticia es que nacieron cuatro gatitos, todos crecieron sanos y lindos, hasta que uno desapareció! no sabemos que le paso, suponemos que la mamá tenia la intención de moverlos de lugar, nos dimos cuenta a tiempo, y nos vimos en la necesidad de reducir el hoyo por donde la gata entra, para evitar que se lleve a los otros.


Are not they cute? Today they had their first sun-bath, all of the four are healthy and very curious, but... one of them dissapeared! we suspect the mother has taken it away, with the intention to remove them all. So we had to block a little bit the hole which she uses to enter into the shed.

macho, macho?

Here I am, again with nothing better to do, than posting "stuff".
O.K Just days ago, in some radio morning show, people were talking about how girls in San Diego percieve somebody as masculine, you know, tal vez "macho".
They said nothing hotter than a man in cargo-bermuda-shorts and sandals... chanclas y bermudas? asked to my-self. Probably they said too and a big tatoo in the calf.
Con todo respeto... or I come from another era and of course from another country, but to me a masculine guy has another image, otra cosa. Maybe if I was 20 years younger would have the same opinion as girls in SD.

Lack of creativity!

I found my self with lack of creativity, so I'll post about something I have read about, the wax mask of Queen Mary Stuart of Scotland.
It seems like indeed, she was a beautiful woman, her face was preserved in wax, after she died (her cousin Queen Elizabeth executed her), so I just can't imagine how creepy was to put the wax over a no-body face!.

SDCCS Jog-a-thon

Today SDCCS celebrated the first jog-a-thon, it was a fun event for the kids, they ran and ran very happy and with very nice mood to do so.
I volunteered pouring water for all the runners of the school.

Bidane shows her lap-sheet, she had fun holding hands with friend Abby while they were " jogging".

She wasn't exactly Ana Gabriela Guevara (mexican medalist in 400mts). Lo suyo, lo suyo no es correr.
Aitana made more laps than Bidane, all the third-grades did very well, I noticed they had more laps than the middle-schoolers.

Indi was great, she beated the boys. Go Indi go...

Resultados elecciones de Mexico 2006

Si quiere usted ver como quedó el mapa político de México para presidente de la república, vea esto, si usted desea enterarse cuantos senadores quedaron por el PAN y demas partidos, vea aquí
o el resultado de diputados, pues entonces siga la siguiente liga.
Todos los escaños para diputados y senadores han sido renovados, nadie queda de la legislatura pasada, a menos que se hayan pasado de dipuatos a senadores o viceversa.
Insisto en mi teoria, si el PAN obtuvo mayoria de diputados y senadores, entonces también ganó la presidencia, el voto dividido se dió de PAN a PRI y de PRD a PRI como se puede ver en este mapa y este otro. Hay algunos estados que de PAN se fueron con el PRI para legisladores como Sinaloa y de PRD para PRI como Nayarit.
Los estados del norte fueron los que le dieron el triunfo a Calderón, se puede ver también que en estos mismos lugares la diferencia entre PAN y PRD es mayor que la diferencia entre PRD y PAN, en varios de los estados donde ganó Lopez Obrador, lo que indica que hubo mas votos para Calderon que para Andres Manuel.

This race was in Mexico city, about a week before we went to live in Canada, nine years ago. When he crossed the finish line, he crossed too, to the other side of his life, because it was the last race he has run, he had children after and he maybe lost his physical condition. MMMM! By the way, Pepe is the one in red with the flag in his hands, probably he had a pre-home-sick momento.

Dos Mexicanos en Venezia

Pepe and I went to Europe for a pre-honey moon, we celebrate our wedding a month later (fall 1994). Here some things I though at that very time:
1. When I get married I will never stop working.
2. When I'll have kids I'll put them in the nursery, no problem, they have to live what all children of this working-professional women live.
3. My husband and I share the household work, you know laundry, cleaning, cooking.

YEAH... RIGHT!.

Que el Peje se caso!

Trascendió que Andres Manuel se casó, finalmente lo atraparon, jejeje. Ahora tiene algo en común con Fox, no será soltero mientras ejerza su cargo de Presidente legítimo de México. Pero vamos Andres Manuel, no pongas esa cara! el matrimonio no es tan malo o sí?
Supuestamente la boda estaba programada para Julio, pero en ese mes no se pudo celebrar, igual y pensaba hacer boda doble con Marcelo Ebrard, recordemos que él si se casó con la actriz Mariagna Pratz durante el verano, el Peje todavía tenía el berrinche atravesado que no quiso ir al festejo. Ojalá y el matrimonio y sus "funciones", le aplaquen el genio a este hombre, que vuelva a su normalidad, que le ayude a ver sus errores, que tuvo muchos, por eso perdió la elección. LA SOBERBIA, querido Andres Manuel es muy mala consejera.

Dia de muertos

El muerto al pozo y el vivo al gozo!

During all this six years I have been living in SD, I have noticed something that captures my attention. More and more people non-mexican is attracted to this Dia de muertos, even Aitana and Bidane see more about this festivity at school than myself when I was a child.
Why is this? I don't know. Maybe the curiosity about altars and songs at the cementery, food for the love-ones that have died, flowers and skeletons all over the place. What it is sure, is all this embracement of " Dia de los muertos", like it is called here. Funny thing, because in Mexico it is "Dia de muertos", not de los muertos. Also, there are in Mexico as many different kind of celebrations as states in the republic, every region has its own way to remember, so we can not say in Mexico there is a skeleton in the bread for good luck, or La Catrina from Posadas is the way all mexicans represents Death.
Every year, I hear comments like: We Mexicans, laugh at the death, we make jokes about it, we celebrate it; DO WE?

Anyways, if you have to remember someone, this is the day to do so.

Triki-triki halloween!

When We lived in Ensenada I used to hear how children sing at people's doors for candies: triki-triki halloween. Nice translation for the real thing.
Of course all these children know the real rhyme.

12 años despues.

I took this photos of food I made last week, fajitas with potatoes. Below string beans with mushrooms, spinach, onion and bacon.
Today Pepe and I have our wedding anniversary, 12 years of marriage. At that time I didn't care about cooking, our policy was the first one to get home after work is the one that starts cooking, and we ate simple, canned food and not complicated dishes. Today I cook almost every day and I do care about what's for supper, I have to say I even enjoy doing it and discovered I have some a talent!.

Almost finished

All last week I have been sewing that Halloween dress, even Aitana had to help me with some details, and still I need to cut it at the fine lenght. So far, it has been the most complicated sewing project to me. I made it and had to re-made it, because it was to big for Aitana. Pepe always says: No aprendes...always with stressful complicated things to do. This time he was right.
Just because the customer was my own daughter, but this dress has consumed so many hours.

Felicidades.

I was talking to my dear aunt about birthdays and we conclude: although it is not very nice to get old, is better than not having the opportunity to see the sun every day. Thank you all of you than came to celebrate, seeing my little girl so happy is the best present to me.

La Peña de Bernal

This rock is in the state of Queretaro, very close to Pepe's mama country house. We went to spent a delightful day by its influence. People say it has magical powers. Of course that is just a popular saying, what I have to comment about it is that the little town around is really cute.

Halloween project.

Oh well... Like a month ago, I had to open my big mouth and say: Hey Aitana why don't you dress as Felicity (from American girl) for Halloween? She was enthusiastic about the idea, while I was realizing I actually made a mistake suggesting so, she asked with a big smile on her face: can you make the costume for me?
I have less than two weeks to make the costume, last week we went to choose the fabric, and a week later I started to actually put hands on it.

Este Halloween Aitana se disfrazará como uno de sus personajes favoritos de los libros que hacen la serie American girl. Este personaje es una niña que supuestamente vivió durante la epoca de independencia de Estados Unidos. Asi que pondre manos a la obra para coser el disfraz.
