We arrived first in Mexico City; staying two weeks in, allowed us to visit many places around, one of my favorites is Down town, here is Isabel La Catolica street, walking along we can see old constructions, palaces that belonged to important people of the New Spain. One can imagine how rich was Mexico at that time.
El Casino Español, this building was a hospital during the colonial period, later transformed by the spanish inmigrants into a social gathering place around 1901, the interior is spectacular, the statues in the photo are two bronze-vikings gift from Don Porfirio (president and dictator of Mexico before the revolution) to El Casino.
Aitana rests over the stairs of a very nice building, called Palacio postal, this building has a venetian style, although the interior has a french style with marble floors and an antique elevator.
